THA PARTY KING is an independent recording artist, songwriter, entertainer and music entrepreneur whose career began under the name Bishop A and expanded through his work as lead artist of the Atlanta-based Hip-Hop Party League. Allen's career began under the name Bishop A, creating Christian hip-hop rooted in faith, rhythm, movement and positive entertainment. Early releases included “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “Prodigal Child,” performed at church programs and faith-centered events throughout the South.
In 2007 Allen relocated to Atlanta with his sister, Southern Soul artist Donyale Renee. A performance at The Red Shoe connected him with manager Virgil Loften and led to the Hip-Hop Party League. With producer Keith “Versitile” Bell, artist Tray-Dae and the Party League dancers, the group built a performance identity around music, dancing and crowd participation, releasing the EP Wash-N-Machine and the albums Unleash the Beast and Freedom Party through HPL Records, the label Allen owned.
The catalog reached Pigfactory, now associated with Riptide Music Group, through a nonexclusive production-library arrangement. Anthony Antwann Allen's journey as a recording artist, songwriter, performer and music entrepreneur began years before the emergence of THA PARTY KING.
In the early stage of his career, Allen performed under the name Bishop A, creating music rooted in Christian hip-hop, faith, rhythm, movement and positive entertainment. His early releases included “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “Prodigal Child.”
During this period, Bishop A performed at church programs and faith-centered events throughout the South. “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” reportedly reached the number-one position in SoundClick's Christian Hip-Hop category in 2006 — artist-supplied career history pending supporting documentation.
In 2007, Allen relocated to Atlanta with his sister, Southern Soul artist Donyale Renee. An opportunity to perform “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” at The Red Shoe, a popular Atlanta club associated with the family of members of the R&B group Jagged Edge, became a turning point in his career.
That performance helped connect Bishop A with manager Virgil Loften and opened the door to the formation of the Hip-Hop Party League.
Working with producer Keith “Versitile” Bell, artist Tray-Dae, the Party League dancers and manager Virgil Loften, Bishop A became the lead artist of a performance-driven group built around music, dancing, audience participation and high-energy entertainment.
The Hip-Hop Party League made its mark on Atlanta stages and recorded an expanding catalog through HPL Records, the label owned by Anthony Antwann Allen. The group released the EP Wash-N-Machine and the albums Unleash the Beast and Freedom Party.

THA PARTY KING is more than a recording artist, songwriter and entertainer. Behind the stage name is Anthony Antwann Allen, an educated entrepreneur whose background combines innovation, business management, strategy and ministry with decades of experience in independent music and entertainment.
Allen earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Innovation & Design from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from East Texas A&M University, with a minor in Corporate Management. He graduated Magna Cum Laude at the MBA level.
His continued professional education includes Six Sigma Green Belt training through Texas A&M University-Commerce and Advanced Valuation and Strategy studies in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital through Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Allen also received an honorary doctorate in Christian Ministry from North Central Theological Seminary.
